Cyber Security Awareness Month

Hackers
Against Humans

A party game for people who click things.

Your team builds the phishing emails. Then you argue about which one would actually have worked. Every card carries a real security tip — which is the entire point.

How to play

This version runs in your browser and needs JavaScript switched on. You can still play it on paper: the rules are below, and the print-and-play PDF is free.

  1. The Inbox — whoever is judging — turns over a Prompt. It has three blanks in it.
  2. Everyone else plays a Sender and a Hook, before they know how the email ends.
  3. The Inbox turns over the Ask, then reads every finished email out loud.
  4. Two winners. Catch of the Day is the one most likely to work on a real person. The Red Herring is the funniest. Each wins a card — a fish.
  5. Read the security tips on the winning cards. First to seven fish wins.
